Garden Friend Summer Card

I love to garden.  Absolutely.  So last night when a super violent summer storm rushed up on us I was very concerned about my plants outside.  The wind was so strong, I thought we would lose a tree close to our window--but no, it only blew down the plant shelf and so the DH and I rushed out when the lightning had abated a little to scoop the plants back into their pots and put them under the porch to prevent further damage.
Luckily I don't think my tomatoes were damaged!  (Yes, Mom, I know... I promised to learn to like them when I became a Mom myself.  You see, I do keep my promises! :)

Also, Baby Ben tried his first VEGETABLE yesterday.  It was carrots and he LOVED THEM! :)  So, with that in mind and with veggies on the brain, here is my card for the following challenges:

(doesn't it make you think of gardens and summer harvest too?!)

3) Secret Crafter #85 : {Buttons and Blooms}
(veggies bloom too, right?  Actually I made a mistake and thought it was buttons and BOWS...oops! :{

4) Everybody Art {Summer theme} - first entry
5) Paper Pals Arts Inspiration Photo #45:

Don't you love the stripes and the HAMMOCK?  I've been daydreaming of hammocks for over a month now.... ahhh..... So I used the greens, the stripes, and my ever-present butcher's twine to remind of the hammock....

Here's the card!
