From the Garden Of...

Hello!  This morning we had some much-needed rain and the boys and I were
able to go outside for a planting day in the garden.
DH tilled up the area last night--something I normally would have done by hand
but that's just not been feasible this year, for various reasons.
The boys were very excited to plant their corn though, as well as some pumpkins at the end of the rows.  Later we'll go out and plant a second round of lettuce and spinach for when the current early spring planting passes prime.

Now that we're inside to rest for awhile, though, I thought I'd share this card with you:

This one plays with the House of Cards script challenge for the month and the Paper Players' butterfly challenge.  I've been working to use up some old--and I do mean OLD--stash and the script paper for this has been one of my favorites for a long time.  Ever have those sheets that you can barely stand to cut into?  I must be the world's worst, but I'm working on it.  I can't exactly even remember this collection name, but it was from Michaels at least 5 years ago, so I think I can be forgiven.

Materials Used on this Card:
Cardstock {Papertrey Ink} Patterned papers {old stash--possibly We R Memory Keepers} Vintage garden tag {Martha Stewart - also 5+years old} Pearls {The Paper Studio}

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a fantastic day!
Before you go, hop over to my quilting and gardening blog, Gardener's Thread,
to enter for a Tula Pink book giveaway!
That giveaway will remain open until I finish my Spring-weaver quilt.
I'll be hosting another craft cleanout giveaway here soon, so do check back.

Be well,
--Kathryn

*Update:  Thanks to a VERY kind invitation from Mynn, I'm linking to the MHK Designs monthly April challenge, which has a color scheme fortuitously harmonious with my card's:

But IMAGINE my surprise to find my friend NanaConnie on the DT, right there.  With a beautiful card, by the way.
Always fun to find old friends.  It's like running into each other in the craft store by accident.
And finding you've picked out nearly the same things.  :)
