Childhood Card - Color Dare 107

Our color combination this week at The Color Dare is...
So Saffron
Marina Mist
Cert. Celery
Unfortunately the subdued saffron tones of the SEI background paper I used are a bit blued out by the outside light for this photo; still, I did follow the rules... you'll just have to take my word for it ;)

Here are the other challenges:

My Time to Craft #146 "Here Comes Summer" - Don't we all remember childhood summer days when we only seemed to go inside to grab a cold drink or a popsicle?

Materials Used on this Card:
Cardstock {Papertrey Ink, SEI}
"Childhood" Tag {Cosmo Cricket}
Edge punches {Fiskars}
Ribbon {Offray}

Guest Designer for SPCC #106 - Capture the Moment Card

What a beautiful Monday morning it is turning out to be here!  I hope yours is equally as lovely, inside or out.  Aside from a fussy baby, I am smiling because I get to teach a very dedicated piano student this afternoon, my toddler is spending the day with Grandma, AND..... I get to be this week's Guest Designer at SPCC! :)

Here is this week's color combo:

Free Digi Sketch: Sand Dollar

Good morning friends! It's Monday and I have another Digi Sketch to share with you today!

This sketch is a sand dollar.  These shells are always so special to find on a beach-combing trip.
You might also enjoy my poem about Sand Dollar Doves on my poetry blog, Everyday Kathryn.
File is in .jpg format

You are welcome to use these sketches for your projects, but all I ask is that
1) You do not try to pass off my artwork as your own and
2) Please link back to me on your posts or projects. Images are still copyright to me, Kathryn Ritter. 3) I would love to see your projects as well; please come back and link them up so that we can all see YOUR work! :)

Also, when you are telling others about my free sketches, please use the watermarked image below for display and provide a link back to the main Digi Sketch page--THANK YOU!

As I add more sketches to the collection, you'll be able to find them using the tab at the top of the page. I hope you will keep checking back or follow so you won't miss any new sketches as I make them available. My goal is to share with my fellow crafters so the more the merrier! :)
Have a great day!

Happy 4th of July Card

The theme at Sentimental Sundays this week is Patriotic!  If you're not in the US, you can still play along of course--just use the colors of your own nation's flag!
For my card I tried to incorporate all kinds of iconic 4th of July elements.  The red gingham ribbon reminds me of a picnic tablecloth.  The splash of stemmed pearls reminds me of a firework, and then there's the star of course, with patriotic verse on it, and tricolor ribbons...

Here are the challenges:
Sentimental Sundays #61 "Patriotic / Your Nation's Flag"

Materials Used on this Card:
Cardstock {Papertrey Ink}
Stamps {Hero Arts}
Ink: Archival Brilliance "Moonlight White" {Tsukineko}
White Galaxy Marker {American Crafts}
Fabric Brads {Making Memories}
