Today I made a gentle card for a very special person, my youngest sister-in-law.
She is gentle, encouraging, soft-spoken (unless she's playing a game), and oh, did I mention--
she's graduating with her English degree.
While I love that there are so many passionate and skilled scientists in our family,
I do often feel like the lonesome literature and arts type. Talking about these kinds of things
with Hannah is always, always a pleasure. She's just a beautiful gem of a person and I am so very proud of all that she's accomplished.
For the layout I followed CAS(E) this Sketch #169:
This one also plays in the following:
Time Out Challenge: Celebrations (Hannah's graduation)
Materials Used on this Card:
Card base {Markings by C.R. Gibson}
Patterned paper {The Paper Studio}
Stamp and Ink {Papertrey Ink - Melissa J designs "Sweet Speech" set, and Winter Wisteria ink}
Lace, Roses, Brads {The Paper Studio, sewing stash}
Thanks so much for dropping by!
Before you go, hop over to my quilting and gardening blog, Gardener's Thread,
to enter for a Tula Pink book giveaway!
That giveaway will remain open until I finish my Spring-weaver quilt.
I'll be hosting another craft cleanout giveaway here soon, so do check back.
Be well,
--Kathryn
