I am proud to live near the oldest mountains in the world.
These mountains and hills have had a profound formative influence on me
and that has carried into my art as well.
This card is a case in point.
The painted mountains were actually part of a scrap piece of paper that
just by chance turned out looking like my favorite ridge,
The Blue Ridge.
The rest of this card came together using scraps lying around on the table
and one adorable stamped and fussy-cut fox.

ReplyDeleteA very artistic card Kathryn. I recently watched "A Walk in the Woods" and the scenes of the Appalachian trail were stunning. You are lucky to live in such a place.
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely texture and great use of your scraps, resulting in a beautiful card.
