This is a religious encouragement card, since the intended recipient,
a very dear friend, knows of the peacock's historical metaphoric
association with the All-Seeing Eye of God.
When a peacock fanned out its thousand "eyes", it represented
God's watchfulness over all of his Children.
I think the message is very apropos as a thinking of you card,
or for those who need a bit of encouragement that
there is Someone All-Aware who is aware of them,
in addition to a mortal friend who is sympathetic and somewhat aware--
at least enough to try to be there when needed.
Have Faith--God Sees and Knows You. He watches over you always!
This challenge is a great one, gals. The sketches are versatile and easy to
adapt to lots of different styles. It will go one for another 19 days or so,
but do check it out to join in and support Kathy! :)
*See explanation of religious symbolism in this card above.
If this doesn't mean "Thinking of You", I don't know what does!
